DESIGN
Design always has a purpose. Sometimes it can involve creating an attractive website interface that’s easy to navigate around, other times it might involve building a complete interface for a business system. We’ve designed everything from campaign sites and complex systems, to interfaces for IP-TV over the years.
Web design
We develop web sites based on modern technology and web standards. Our web designs are often elegant, functional and carefully thought through. You are welcome to be inspired.
Icons & interfaces
We design pixels icons by hand and we know how navigation works on the web. In past years we have designed both icons and interfaces for large systems, small applications and prototypes.
Illustrations & animations
Sometimes, something is needed to really emphasize the message and information. Illustrations work better than photographs in some cases, and an animation can further enhance the experience.
Web design
Besides the purely aesthetic details, we place great emphasis on details such as navigation and icons in order to make everything we produce feel modern and professional.
Profile fashions are ever-changing as regards web design, but as far as we’re concerned the most important thing is to make sure that there’s a structured idea behind every design solution. But at the same time, whatever we produce has to feel fresh and up to date.
We often handle the entire creative process. And sometimes, we work together with advertising and PR agencies if requested to do so by our clients. We always make sure we’re compliant with our clients’ graphic profiles, too.
When it comes to the design of complex systems and navigation, we also work in partnership with cognitive scientists who specialise in the interaction between Man and Machine.
Icons & interfaces
Interaction design, usability, common sense – call it what you will. You need more than just aesthetics, colour and form for design to work.
We’re great at creating design that works – or, in other words, at helping users by highlighting navigation and function using attractive user interfaces and icons that have been well thought out.
For instance, we’ve created layouts and icons for major systems which include sets of hundreds of icons for the Raindance portal belonging to Logica (formerly WM-data), and we’ve produced interfaces for Sony Ericsson’s campaigns and touchscreen solutions.
Illustrations & animations
Sometimes our clients want something which will really point out their message, really underline it. In many instances photos are just the ticket, while at other times illustrations can be more effective.
Illustrations are made up of vector graphics. This means you can change the size without adversely affecting quality. This is why an illustration is a really great way of building your corporate identity – it can be used on the Web, in print, in presentations.
Animation and movement – sometimes it’s better to present material in the form of animated graphics and video. We create animations in Flash which highlights all material. Illustrations and animations also work really well together when you want to reinforce a message.
