We work with technology every day, and we often spend our time off playing with it as well. Our experience with regard to new technologies mean that we can work out quickly what solutions are best suited to every requirement. We also want to be able to feel proud of every production that leaves our factory. This is what we mean by passion.
About Republic
Republic was founded in 1994. Since then, many technologies, companies and products have come and gone. Republic remains, so please come and have a cup of coffee!

About Republic
Republic Factory AB is the design agency that focuses on digital solutions to benefit our clients. We work on developing communication solutions for the Internet, with emphasis on good design and usability. We always work on the basis of specific requirements when producing and developing solutions.
Design concerns what you can see on screen, what’s hidden behind the scenes – and the actual efficiency of the system for users. But above all, our view is that good design should frame and enhance the effectiveness of the message you give to your users. Our clients – many of whom have been with us for quite a few years now – also enjoy working with us because we truly love what we do.

Web standards and philosophy
There are lots of ways of developing solutions for the Web. With today’s technology and the web standards available to use, we can design websites that work equally well on PC or Mac, running Windows, Mac OS or Linux. We develop all new products in accordance with applicable web standards and make sure they work well.
We develop structured websites which everyone can use – including people with impaired vision or other disabilities. Accessibility is always the most important parameter when it comes to publishing information.
Nowadays, more and more people also have access to the Internet via their mobile phones and PDAs, which means that publishing information correctly has never been more important than it is now. We work in accordance with web standards and so we separate layout from content. This gives us a massive advantage when it comes to mobile Web use.
