Illustrations and web for Edig

Edig is a knowledge platform with the aim of increasing digitalisation skills in the industry. We at Republic have built and refined the site in installments, and added features for outside chroniclers and the opportunity for all educators to create their own training modules.

Customer:RISE and GTC

RISE is Sweden's research institute and innovation partner. In international collaboration with companies, academia and the public sector, they contribute to a competitive business and a sustainable society. The Edig project was run by GTC - Gothenburg Technical College

Isometric 3D:Illustrations

The illustrations for Edig are created as vector graphics, which means they can be scaled up and down without any loss of quality. This way they can be used both in small variations on the site, but also on large backdrops at fairs and the like.

Since most images are made as isometric 3D, it is easy to combine them into new illustrations. If you look carefully you can see that several elements recur in different places in the pictures.

Clean and simple:A platform for learning

At edig.nu, companies, schools and organizations regularly publish articles on digitalisation in the industry. The articles are sorted into subject areas and complexity, thus forming a knowledge bank for those who want to learn more about, for example, artificial intelligence or additive manufacturing.

The target group is employees in Swedish industry, such as operators, maintenance technicians, production technicians in companies, management and various educational actors.
